Brittany has been in the pet sitting business for 15+ years. She began by working for one of the largest pet sitting companies in Portland before splitting off and starting one with a business partner, while also working front desk in a veterinary office. Working at the vet gave her a better sense of not only pet health needs, but client needs. When her previous business partner moved, she had the pleasure of taking over the company and the opportunity to make it her own, hence the birth of Sitting Pretty. While she had to quit working for the vet for this full time commitment, she is thrilled to bring what she’s learned to this company to make it the best it can be!
Brittany has two fur babies of her own- her cats Bentley & Beyonce. In her spare time, she likes to run, golf, catch a comedy show and travel.

Rachel has an innate capacity for loving animals. She has cared for pets her entire life and this was the catalyst for her eventually becoming a pet sitter. Rachel has seven years of experience working as a pet sitter and dog walker. She began doing house sitting and dog walking for her friend's and family's pets in 2014 and then began branching out. In 2019, she became a professional pet sitter/dog walker for a company named Paws Play in San Diego. Over the summer, she moved to the Portland area to pursue her degree in creative writing and continue her passion for working with animals. Rachel began working with Sitting Pretty in October 2021 and has easily settled into her natural habitat with her new furry companions.
Rachel has also volunteered at the Humane Society as well as worked on a farm at a horse sanctuary. She currently cares for her two cats at home, Gambit and Cosmo, and looks forward to adding a puppy to her family in the next few years.

Kirsten went to school for a degree in art and design and recently opened up an Etsy shop to sell her art. Her love for animals led her to a job with Sitting Pretty- it’s become such a joy spending time with and learning about all the dogs! While she’s never had her own dog, her love for them has led her to dog sitting for neighbors and friends when they’re away.
Kirsten has two cats named Cosmo and Shadow that she loves dearly. In her spare time she enjoys making art, listening to music, and traveling.

Lora has a compassion for animals since she was gifted her first dog on her first birthday! She started working at equine facilities and doing pet portrait paintings at a early age. This continued into adulthood until she moved to Portland in 2019 to pursue her art career. Since then she has been spending her free time pet sitting and enjoying learning about dog behavior. Working at Furever Family pet services, her love for dog training blossomed and she started taking a dog training course through CATCH Dog Trainers academy. Lora has been pet sitting at Sitting Pretty since 2022 and is loving all of her clients!

Ever since Jessica was young, she’s never not been around a dog or a cat. She’ll pretty much fall in love with every animal she sees!
Over the last number of years living in Connecticut and then moving out here to Portland 2 years ago, she has done both dog walking and pet sitting for friends and family members. As she got more experienced, she started using apps like Rover and Wag so she could branch out to keep learning and growing. She joined Sitting Pretty in May 2025, and it brings her so much joy that she can help love and care for all the fur babies that get put in her path.
While she misses having a pet of my own, she enjoys the 2 dogs her roommate has, Chaco and Sukki. She also enjoys helping at church and her community!

Mackenzie fell in love with animals the day she was brought home to a family of five cats. She always felt a kinship with animals and jumped at the opportunity to work for Sitting Pretty. She enjoys getting to know each individual pet. It's a great day when Mackenzie gets to spend hours with the lovely furry family members we care for! She's already learned a lot, and she can't wait to learn more!
Mackenzie gets to come home every day to her two cats, dog, and various reptiles. She loves her little zoo! In her free time, she likes to read fantasy, have watch parties with her friends, and craft.

Amanda grew up around a lot of animals. She has always had dogs and cats in her household. Amanda grew up babysitting family and friends’ pets, from dogs and cats, to lizards and hermit crabs. This jump started her love for animals and caretaking.
Amanda has worked at doggy daycares for years, and has learned a lot about dog/cat behaviors and health; she is always interested in learning more about animals and their wellbeing. Amanda has 3 gray cats named Mobie, HoneyBee, and Miki and a puppy pitbull named Geyser at home; she is looking forward to filling her home with lots of dogs and cats in the future.

Jacie has always had a love for animals as she grew up with a mixture of cats and dogs. With her love of animals she became a Veterinary receptionist, and then technician. This experience gave her an understanding of what both pets and their parents need in terms of love and care. She is excited to be a part of this team and take care of your fur babies!
Jacie has four critters of her own - two cats, one senior dog, and a Leopard Gecko! In her free time she loves to draw, watch movies, and play video games.
